Larry Hoover my King there has been a lot said in the media about Mr. Hoover Sr and mostly negative if you listen to news reports. And I've got friends who believe 100% in what is and has been written and said in the media about Mr. Hoover and Growth&Development. But as one who've been connected to the GD's organization since 1975 as a teen I have met The Chairman and knew he always wanted the organization to move away from criminal activity. Neither Mayor Daley Sr or Jr liked Mr. Hoover and vowed to make sure he never got out of jail. The only reason law enforcement wants The Chairman to remain locked down is fear and they don't feel a black man should have the following and so called leadership he has. But they let rapist and child molesters out on the daily. But a man who could make the streets saver by his mere words they wanna keep him locked down like a animal like he is a serial killer. All members in committee can agree we have not been choir boys but we are not the worst group to hit the streets. We have done a ton of good in the hood and continue to do good today. To many people go on what the news media claims concerning Mr' Hoover and the organization as a whole. There was a time in area's that we held down there was no high crime rate because we protected are hoods, didn't deface peoples homes and police our members. We knew what ever we did good or bad especially bad could effect The Chairman being free one day. So if the system can let out mass murderers, molesters etc why can't the chairman be free and the conclusion I come up with is THEY FEAR A MAN OF COLOR WHO HAS THE POWER TO MOVE A NATION.
